How can I renovate my kitchen and bathroom in covid-19 time ?<\/h1><\/div>

Renovation projects require a lot of planning, especially those involving a kitchen or bathroom because they contain so many specific elements.<\/p>\n

With the current pandemic situation, whether in Qu\u00e9bec or elsewhere in the world, it is essential to be well prepared when planning our renovations, for the following reasons :<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Factories are experiencing production delays due to their closures in 2020 and, in addition, we are currently seeing an increase in demand for products;<\/p>\n

\u00b7 In 2021, the manufacturing sector will have to deal with new factors such as staff shortages. This factor will be exacerbated by preventive measures against covid-19, absenteeism due to the symptoms of this disease and the reduced availability of workers, who will have to stay at home because of their family situations;<\/p>\n

\u00b7 On a global scale, it is difficult to source certain materials (ceramics, cabinet materials, stone countertops, sanitaryware and others) that are essential to our kitchen and bathroom renovation projects in Quebec.<\/p>\n

All these factors will lead to considerable delays in production and delivery to renovation sites, as well as additional costs. That’s why it’ s strongly recommended that you allow 2 to 3 months to order all the necessary renovation components in advance.<\/strong> This is essential to avoid creating additional delays when the time comes to carry out certain stages of your project. Here is a list of the items you may need for your renovation :<\/p>\n

– Sink unit ;
– Faucet ;
– Made-to-measure furniture (includes cupboard, installation and counter) ;
– Light fittings ;
– Appliances (cooker, hood, fridge, microwave, dishwasher) ;

– Shower and shower screen ;
– Bath ;
